A WORD FROM THE MOST BLESSED AND MOST UNDESERVING PASTOR IN THE WORLD ! If you are visiting our web site you have already seen how God has blessed Stateline Baptist Church. It has been our great privilege to serve The LORD here since November of 2002. Our desire is to preach the gospel of The LORD Jesus Christ, see sinners saved by grace and fellowship with sister churches hoping for and praying for revival in all of our churches. I do not believe a true area wide revival is possible without Christians coming together in love and fellowship and prayer with one another.

Please allow me to share my testimony. I thank God that I had parents that loved The LORD and carried me to church from the time I was borned on September 18, 1959 until 1968 when God first spoke to my heart. After several months God convicted my heart of my lost condition and on January 20, 1969 I ask Jesus Christ to save me from my sin. Jesus came into my heart that day and I have never been the same. In September of 1990 after to many years of living what can only be described as a pitiful carnal Christian life God drawed me to Peniel Baptist Church. God used this Holy Spirit filled church to touch my heart and show me how to surrender my life to Christ. I repented of my slack sinful life and totally surrendered my heart and life to God. After much growth spiritually under the preaching of a great pastor Bro Joe Holbert God started dealing with my heart about preaching. On May 2, 1997 after much fearful prayer I surrendered to the irresistible Call of God to preach The Gospel. As amazed as I am that God would ask me to preach, I am as sure ( more sure if possible ) of HIS call on my life to preach as I am of my salvation. I had the great privilege to pastor Piney Grove Baptist Church in Saluda NC from August of 1998 until November of 2002.  In November of 2002 I started preaching for Stateline Baptist Church and in February of 2003 they voted me in as Pastor. If it is pleasing to my LORD I hope to be here preaching and winning souls for Jesus when HE returns to get HIS Church.
